I think this album represents those who have been in a long term relationship and been through a ton of shit and come out the other side still looking at each other and seeing their best friend. Isn't that what we all strive for? Not in a physical way although thats a component that evolves as well. It's the emotional connection that we want. We all want to be seen and to be heard and loved and needed and if you have that with someone you have everything. I think there is a story in this record for any age though. I think its time we celebrated our age and not hide. Being young is beautiful and innocent but having this knowledge and perspective at 40 or 60 or??... I am exactly where I want to be and I hope others feel the same and can own it too.
